Finding Your Bliss Body

During this two-hour afternoon workshop, participants will embark on an inner journey to peel away the layers and find their bliss bodies. This will be done by using basic yoga poses, breathing exercises, imagery and the Alexander Technique.
The gentle hands-on bodywork of the Alexander Technique will be used to invite the soft release of muscle tension and facilitate an easy, natural alignment in the yoga poses. It will be a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon. Class size is limited to allow personalized learning and individual attention. No previous yoga experience is required; however, body awareness is helpful.

Join us for an hour-long workshop of “yOTga”: occupational therapy inspired yoga!
In this fun, open, and creative workshop, your child will learn the fundamentals of self-regulation, explore their sensory systems, increase their strength and body awareness, learn about social skills, and the practice of yoga through interactive games, crafts, asanas, and pranayama. All ability levels welcome - parents are welcome to join the workshop to support their child and enjoy the benefits of yoga free of charge!

Stress Release and Sound Immersion

Experience a holistic approach to releasing stress and anxiety in this 2 hour yoga and sound bath immersion. Through integrating breath work, gentle yoga postures, guided meditation, aromatherapy, and the magical sound of the 7 chakra aligned crystal singing bowls, you'll be supported and nurtured through the process of self-healing. You'll practice breathing techniques to calm the sympathetic nervous system, eliciting the relaxation response. You'll open your body to releasing muscle tension through gentle flowing movement and Yin style yoga postures. You'll then rest in savasana with a guided meditation, and experience the soothing sound of the crystal bowls to bring you into a deep state of relaxation and emotional release. Give yourself the gift of self care, and begin the year rejuvenated and realigned, mind body and spirit.
