I began my Yoga practice in 2002 in a gym. I loved how the movement and breath work made me feel – it felt like a whole new world was opening up for me. Knowing that Yoga was so much more then what I was experiencing in the gym I looked for a studio. When I came to Mt. Yoga and took classes and workshops from so many talented and special teachers I knew I had found my Yoga Home.
I took the step in 2016 to go through teacher training at Mt. Yoga – I loved every minute of the training. Being a teacher here now among so many great teachers is a privilege I appreciate so very much. I am committed to the practice – to continue to grow and to teach.

This beautiful practice allows you the opportunity to disconnect from the stresses of daily life and renew.
A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends.

Gentle Yoga is a class that is suitable for all levels of ability and experience. In this class you will practice foundational yoga postures that will help you lengthen and strengthen your entire body. In addition to body movement, classes will include breathing exercises and opportunities for peaceful reflection. This class is paced to match the energy of the classroom and instructors will help you explore ways of relaxing and re-energizing through each pose. Whether you're a new student, or a seasoned yoga practitioner, this class will inspire all!
